Music made with electronics is what we're about. Techno, Electro, House, Tech-House, Dubstep, IDM, Minimal Techno, Glitch-Hop, Chiptune / 8-Bit, Ambient, Indie-Tronica, Future Disco, and the like... We love music that doesn't rely on traditional musical instruments like Guitars, Drum Kits, Charismatic Vocalists to be relevant. Our musical past was born from music created through advancements in tools, but that only gives the humans who make it more tools to work with.
Pumping Station: One is a hackerspace (also called a makerspace or community workshop) located in the Avondale neighborhood of Chicago at 3354 N. Elston Ave. We exist to provide the place, tools, and community where people can explore ideas; create new things; and share knowledge with each other.
